Leon Xiao is a senior research manager in IDC China's Vertical Industry Research and Consulting Group. He has rich experience in IT marketing research. His research covers hardware, software, IT service and internet and so on, as well as covering business of industry research, customer demand research and sales channel research.

Leon Xiao implemented quite a few marketing research projects, got good appraisal from customer by providing valuable strategy suggestion.

Before joining in IDC, Leon Xiao was a senior consultant in Han consulting (China) Limited, focusing on Enterprise IT strategy planning and ERP implementation. Before Han consulting, he worked for Precom Information system (Beijing) Inc. and Alliance PKU Management Consultants Ltd, and gained experience of system integrating and software developing for over 5 years and experience of management consulting and ERP consulting over 4 years.

Leon Xiao received Bachelor's degrees in Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering University, and MBA degree from Tsinghua University.
